Lunchbox Lesson #1 - The St. Lawrence Seaway

On Wednesday, April 28th Schoharie Crossing welcomed St. Lawrence County Historical Association Executive Director, Ashley Maready to present an overview history of the St. Lawrence Seaway, including its construction, operation, and significance. Watch the video below to discover its impacts on New York and the far-reaching implications of a newer canal channel.

Ashley Maready has been a history museum professional for over a decade and holds a BA in history and philosophy from Hood College and an MA in applied history from Shippensburg University.
