Peddle:Paddle

Schoharie Crossing is the PERFECT place to take on the adventure of a Peddle : Paddle, or a Paddle : Peddle if you prefer.
   On site there are two access points for launching your kayak or canoe into the     Schoharie Creek and Mohawk River, we also have wonderful bike racks to lock up your ride. The site is adjacent to the Canalway Trail section of the Empire State Trail, the bike path that connects Buffalo to  Albany and passes through the entirety of Montgomery County.

   Dropping off a bike or locking up a kayak at the site is easy. You can stage a car in our parking areas at the Boat Launch or Yankee Hill, but also have access across the trails and waterway to other great locations to make your adventure any size you want!
   

Parks & Trails NY (PTNY) has available great information on biking amenities across the state, and the Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor (ECNHC) provides resources on many of the amenities along the Canalway Water Trail. Find more information on their websites.
